Constructing the Digipak

Today my group and I were constructing our Digipak, it was a little confusing for us on a whole because this is we had a lot of pictures to edit on Adobe Photoshop. Below is a picture of our teacher helping us write some text over the front cover of our digipak.

Constructing the Magazine Advert

While constructing our Magazine Advert on Photoshop, we chose a picture of the lead singer which we had done earlier and we added the singers name and the song. We also added our song ratings and where the song would be shared and what date it would be released.

Editing day 2

Editing Day 2

This was our second day of editing, we have now completed 75% of the music video. the pictures below shoes us adding some remaining footage and editing it. we also included the band scene which was filmed the week before.

Below is a screenshot of us editing a specific clip to change on the beat. We had to go back and refer to our blog 'Editing On the Beat' to master the technique as we found it quite challenging at the beginning of the lesson.

Coming up to the end of the lesson we had finished nearly all of our editing, we managed to make a lot of progress.. At the beginning of the lesson there were large gaps between the clips we had in our video but now there is only one small gap at the beginning of the video that we have to fill. We have also started playing around with effects to see what specific clips look better in black and white.

Music video rough cut/feedback

This is some members of our group watching out music video and giving us ways to improve it and the things they liked about it.

here are some of the feedback received.

Great use of different locations. shows the examiner that we went out of our comfort zone to produce this work.
spinning shots
The change between black and white to colour
some of the people that watched did not like the borders on the split screen
Didn't put the name of the artist at the beginning or the end.
To put the scenes that shows emotion in black and white because this will create effect.
